Scraps of My Life

e
Here's the little pile of HSTs left from my Scrappy Triangles. I'm sure these will become part of a future project.
All the blocks are complete. I managed to get the sashing/borders cut and have actually sewn a row and a half together. Stitching has been slow around this house. I'm linking with Kim of Kim's Big Quilting Adventure for Scrap Basket Sunday. Drop by Kim's to see what everyone else is up to.

Ms Cha Cha Cat is enjoying a brief morning sitting in an open window. This happens rarely in the Florida heat and since the sun has come out her perch will soon come to an end today. I would say poor kitty but she hates the window once the day gets hot. Her has great appreciation of air conditioning.
My nephew, Scott, is back in surgery as I write this. The doctors are repairing his jaw which was broken in 4 places as well as setting a few broken bones. Your prayers and kind comments this past week have been most appreciated. I will get around to responding personally to each of you. Until then know I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Should any of you be in (or know anyone who will be in) Tallahassee, FL on November 6, 2013 please stop by Lake Ella at 10 a.m. EST to join the Walk for Scott. Information on the fund raiser can be found HERE.
Update - my niece posted this to Facebook ....
I have always known this, but for those of you who don't, my brother, Scott Mobley, is one stubbornly strong fighter! Today's round of surgery went well Sending many thanks to everyone for their support and a special thanks to God!
